春风十里，不如绿草茵茵。

China’s Tree Planting Day falls on March 12^th every year. Have you planted trees today ?

According to a news report, China is one of the world leaders in landscaping. Newly increased green area in China corresponds to a quarter of the Amazon rainforest. The increase benefits from returning farmland to forest and grassland.

中国是世界上园林绿化的领导者之一。21世纪初以来，全球绿叶面积增加了5%，相当于整个亚马逊雨林的面积，中国新增绿化面积达到了四分之一个亚马逊雨林，是全球所有绿叶面积增加中的第一名。这些都得益于中国的种种环保政策。

Tree Planting day is in the middle of the week this year. We don’t have time to go outdoors to enjoy a pleasant walk. But we have tree plating activities in the Maple Leaf Preschool. Follow me and take a look at what we have done on this beautiful day.

今天是植树节，是我们为环保做贡献，为绿化做贡献的节日。现在就跟着我一起去枫叶幼儿园看看我们都做了哪些吧！

The children are bathing in the sun in early spring, picking up the tools, earthing up and watering the seeds. Everyone has a good time.

孩子们沐浴着早春温暖的阳光，拿起工具，培土、浇水，个个忙得不亦乐乎……

Teachers have prepared flowerpots and seeds. The children have planted plants of hope by themselves and plan to record the germination and growth of seeds.

老师准备了花盆和种子。孩子们亲手种下满载希望的植物，并且开始用心地记录种子的发芽和生长。

Older children have placed the signs, which are made by themselves, on the grass and trees. Children are proud to have made the signs and planted flowers.

大班的孩子们把精心绘制的护绿小牌子挂在幼儿园的每棵树上及花草园地里。孩子们看着自己设计的树牌和种植的花，都兴奋极了。

Everyone is responsible for caring for trees. We are proud to bring a touch of green in Maple Leaf Preschool. 

植树不易，护绿更难，无论活动多小，多简单，只要能为周边的绿意添彩，就定能为我们的内心带来一片绿荫。
