Dear BC Teachers,

亲爱的BC老师们，

This message should be my first one when I have started working

 in this campus. In order to keep things clear and let your students

 know about the BC Library, there are few items you need to know

这是我来到咱们校区工作后第一次给大家发通知。为了让工作能清晰有条理地进行，也让同学们能更好地了解英文图书馆，请大家遵守以下几条规定：

Opening Hours

开放时间

The BC Library is open from 7:30 to 5 PM from Mondays to Thursdays. 

On Fridays from 7:30 to 4 PM

Closed on Wekeends

英文图书馆开放时间：周一到周四7:30—17:00

周五7:00—16:00

周六、日 不开放

Circulation Policy

借还书政策

Teachers/School staff are allowed to borrow books, reference books 

through the school year. Due date for all borrowed items is June 30th,

 2017. Teachers who want to keep library materials over summer need

 to inform the Library staff before this day.

本学年，学校所有教职员工都可以到英文图书馆借阅书籍。但必须在2017-06-30之前归还。如果有老师想在暑假期间继续保留所借书籍，请务必在2017-06-30之前告知图书管理员。

Students are allowed to borrow textbooks and library books.

学生只允许借阅教材书籍以及图书馆藏书（早读所用书籍以及其它，但不包括参考书和杂志）

- For textbooks, the due date it also June 30th, 2017. However, students

 are requested to return their textbooks before leaving the school for 

summer holiday otherwise they have to pay overdue fines.

对于教材书籍，同学们必须在2017-06-30之前归还。逾期需交付过期罚款。

- For Library books, students are invited to borrow atmost2 books at 

the same time for a period of three weeks. Failing to return their book

 on time, they have to pay 5 RMB for each overdue week.

对于图书馆藏书，同学们一次最多可以借阅2本，每一本只可借阅3周。如果逾期未还，同学们需向英文图书馆支付5RMB/周。

Students can keep their book for a longer period, to do so, they need to

 come to the library and ask for a renewal. They can renew their book as 

long as needed.

如果需要续借，学生必须到英文图书馆进行信息更新。同学们可以根据需要多次续借。

Students and teachers are requested to take good care of library materials, 

any damage or lost must be replaced.

老师和学生都必须好好保管所借阅的书籍和资料，如损坏和丢失，都需要赔付。

Homeroom Class visits

班级访问

Now that the library starts having a shape, you're welcome to bring your 

class to the library during homeroom time and get your students sign up

 for a book. Due to the small space of the library, one class visit is allowed 

during HR. It could be a monthly visit, so students won't keep the same 

book for three months or more.

现在图书馆已渐具规模，我们欢迎老师们早读期间带学生到图书馆借阅书籍。由于空间有限，所以一次只能容纳一个班级。老师们也可以带学生每月来一次，这样可以确保学生不会保留同一本书籍超过三个月或者更长时间。

Please let me know when you'd like to bring your class and will keep the 

sing up sheet updated for all your visits.

如果你们需要带学生到图书馆上课，请提前通知图书管理员，以便我们提前进行时间安排。
