枫叶作为中西文化相结合的国际学校，少不了有趣的英语活动。期待着每周三的英语日活动早已成为每个枫叶学子不约而同的默契。本周三，由十年级四、五班策划组织的传统文化嘉年华活动主题英语日活动在综合楼大厅展开，让我们随着小编的步伐一起去看看吧。

As an international school combining Chinese and Western culture, Maple Leaf has many interesting English activities. Our students are all looking forward to the English Day on Wednesday. The activities organized by Class 4 and Class 5 was carried out in the hall of the Multi-purpose Building this Wednesday. Let's go and take a look.

本次英语日活动较之前有了很大的变化，策划、组织完全由班级学生们独立完成，充分调动了学生的主动性和积极性，培养了学生的组织策划沟通能力，让更多同学与发光发热的自己相遇。

Unlike before, students designed and organized activities this time which fostered their overall abilities and mobilized their enthusiasm. 

游戏规则环节，活动借鉴了李易峰主演的动物世界，所有参与者都可以抽签回答外教老师关于文化知识类的问题，得到两张初始卡牌，再通过这两张初始卡牌前往指定游戏区域进行游戏，两张牌所能赢得什么呢？无限的可能！四、五班的同学为我们准备了丰厚的奖品，同学们只需要用手上的牌参加游戏，就可以用赢得的牌换取价值丰厚的奖品。

The rule of the game is very simple, similar to the movie Animal World starred by Li Yifeng. Students will answer questions in the four exhibition places. They will get two initial cards if their answers are correct and go to the designated game area with the cards. What can they get ? The possibilities are endless! Class 4 and 5 students prepared rich prizes for us. Students only need to use the CARDS to participate in the game and use the CARDS they win to exchange for valuable prizes.

第三节课的铃声已经响起，但大家的热情却丝毫不减，即便是输了游戏的同学，但是没关系，四五班的同学们也贴心地为大家准备了中华传统美食——皮蛋!

More and more students came to participate. Although the third block had begun, the enthusiasm was still high. Some students lost the game, but it didn't matter because Class 4 and 5 students prepared the traditional Chinese food -- preserved eggs for everyone.

大厅里欢笑声、喝彩声不断。老师也为拿到奖品的同学拍照留念，身处于激烈比拼气氛中的同学们已不知时间的流逝，每一个深受期待的英语日也会在每周三如约而至，让我们期待在下一次的活动中同学们有更出彩的表现！

The hall was filled with laughter and cheers. The teacher took pictures for students who got the prizes. The intense competition made the students not notice the time pass by. English day will be held every Wednesday as scheduled. Let's look forward to the students' excellent performance next time.
