2014年7月11日下午，2014年天津泰达枫叶国际学校初中暑期夏令营开营仪式如期在老报告厅举行。

首先，大英语工程总监Ms. Zhang 向大家亲切问候，并送出了对同学们在16天的夏令营中的期待和嘱咐。而后，初高中英语中心主任Ms. Wang 就课程内容和形式和现场同学们做了积极的互动。课程包括：英语故事阅读，口语，语法，交流技巧以及英文歌曲、卡通配音、英文短剧、社交礼仪、烹饪、英文电影、农作物种植和英文游戏等英文俱乐部，旨在通过有趣的方式提升学生对英语语言学习的兴趣。此后，天津枫叶教育园区总校长龙永祥先生为暑期夏令营开营仪式致辞，并鼓励学生积极参与，期待他们16天内的变化。华苑校区初中教导主任路文杰先生也就学生日常管理进行了简要说明。最后，同学们在宿舍刘文龙老师关于生活区注意事项的幽默而又温馨的提示后开始了这16天的体验。

2014 TTMLIS Middle School Summer Camp

Opening Ceremony

On July 11^th, 2014 TTMLIS Middle School Summer Camp Opening Ceremony was held in the old auditorium.

First of all, the Principal of the Greater English Project Ms. Zhang showed her greeting to all the new students and pass her  expectation and best wish to all of them. Then, the Director of the middle school and high school ESL Ms. Wang did a brief  introduction to the courses and the students were extremely active. The courses included English story reading, speaking, grammar, communication skills and various English clubs, such as cartoon dubbing, English skits, English songs, social etiquette, cooking, English movies, English games and farming. We provided these courses in order to inspire the students to learn English in interesting ways. After it, the General Headmaster of Tianjin Maple Leaf Educational Park Mr. Long delivered a speech to encourage the students to participate English classes and activities more. After Mr. Long’s speech, the middle school director of Huayuan campus Mr. Lu introduced the students management. Finally, the opening ceremony came to the end with Mr. Liu’s (the dorm teacher) humorous and warm reminder of living in the dorm.
