今年的11月26日是西方的感恩节，这个节日源于清教徒对于美国原住民的感谢。来自于英国的清教徒来到了新大陆，在美国印第安人的帮助下他们一起获得了丰收。为了感谢印第安人，他们把每年11月的第四个星期四作为感恩节,每年的日期都不同。感恩节来临之际，枫叶的英语课堂也融入了节日色彩的教学内容，同学们纷纷用感恩卡片及彩绘作品，来表达自己对父母、老师、同学、朋友的感谢之情。

    The Thanksgiving Day is on Nov. 26th this year, The Pilgrims form England came

 to a New Land, but they had a good harvest with the Indians’ help. Thanksgiving 

 is the holiday which originated from that Pilgrims wanted to give thanks to American 

Indians’ help. Thanksgiving Day is the fourth Thursday of November, and it is a 

moveable holiday. In these two weeks, students learned a lot about Thanksgiving’s 

 traditions, made a lot of Thanksgiving cards and handcrafts, in order to express

 our thanks to parents, classmates, friends and teachers.  

    11月27日下午12:30的感恩义卖活动拉开了感恩节系列活动的第二序幕。早在两周前，同学们就开始将亲手制作的手工艺品、闲置的日常学习、生活物品等整理了出来。义卖当天孩子们和老师一起布置展台、搬运物品、分类摆放、物品定价，忙碌的场景仿佛要融化整个冬季。

Flea Market start at 12:30 on Nov. 27th. Teachers and students arranged their

 booth by their handcrafts, books, toys or the leave unused things orderly.

活动一开始“小摊主们”兼顾生意的同时，还要忙中偷闲穿梭于各展台间淘淘宝。展台前不时传出的流利的英文对白、高昂的售卖口号、羞涩的还价大战，总是让人在驻足之余再多买上几样物品。场馆的另一端家长们现场制作的美味更为义卖火爆场景增添了几份热度。音乐台中满载同学们祝福的音乐萦绕其间，现场成了欢乐与爱的海洋。

The “Little Bosses” are the buyers and sellers. They enjoyed bargaining, 

selling the products with English. The hand-made food made by our parents

 is also popular here. The Music Station is the

 place where we express our love and thanks, the lovely music made the

 gym full of love and happiness.  

感恩义卖活动不仅丰富了校园文化生活，拉近了家校合作的距离，更提高了同学们活动的组织能力,增强了团队合作的意识，更重要的是通过这次活动，同学们领悟到了关爱他人、乐于奉献的真谛。

Our school culture life get richer, school-family distance get closer, students

’ ability of management also get stronger through out the Flea Market 

activity. Let’s know the truth of love and share.
