新学期开始了，孩子们又重新回到了可爱的校园，开始了快乐的英语学习生活。3月9日，我们迎来了“My” Day。顾名思义，这次的英语日活动即以“我的……”为主题。上周四外教老师已经教授了有关长相、爱好、性格、习惯等相关内容的词汇和重点句子。“My” Day当天，在双语课堂上，孩子们饶有兴趣地完成了手偶制作。手偶都很有创意，有的是抽象派，有的带有浓浓的动漫风。在“My” Day这天里，孩子们拿着制作的“迷你版自己”走向讲台，在双语课和英语课上大声、勇敢、自信地介绍自己，课堂的气氛特别活跃。

我们还统一为孩子们配发了彩色卡片，在卡片上用英文写下介绍自己的文字，还可以融入艺术设计。有的学生在卡片上写到“I remember that when I came to MLIES, I first met my best friend---Seoli. With Seoli, I had the happiest time in my life.”(“我记得我初次来到枫叶时，遇到了我最好的朋友——Seoli。和Seoli一起，度过了我人生最快乐的时光。”) 五颜六色的卡片承载着每个孩子独一无二的特点，就像他们丰富多彩的童年生活。这些卡片将由老师统一用绳子穿好，悬挂在教室门口的板报上，成为班级的特色之一，形成一道道亮丽的风景。  

通过这次活动，学生们不仅锻炼了英语口语，而且大胆地用英语展示了自我，让更多的同学进一步认识、了解了自己。我们相信在课堂上迈出的每一小步都可以帮助他们培养自信心，为将来的每一大步打下良好的基础。此次活动结束后，同学们的作品将会加入“班级同学录”，为孩子们留下美好的童年回忆……

A new semester has started, the children have returned to our lovely

 campus, starting a happy life learning English. On March 9th, we

 ushered in the "My Day". As its name suggests, the English day takes

 "my......" as a theme. Last Thursday, English teachers taught children

 the relevant content of the words and key sentences about appearance,

 hobbies, personality, habits and so on. Today, we hosted "My Day”

 activities. In the Bilingual class, the children completed a hand puppet

 carefully. The puppet were made by the children themselves who

 were very creative. It made it easy for classmates to identify themselves

 at a glance. Some puppets were featured with abstraction, and some 

were featured with animation. On "My Day”, the children took their 

own works to their Bilingual and English class, they introduce themselves

 loudly and confidently. We believe that every small step in the classroom

 would help them develop their confidence and lay the foundation for 

each step in the future.

We gave the children cards with different colors. They finished their

 introduction with artistic creation on these colorful cards. Those cards 

showed the characteristics of the children, like their colorful life. A student

 wrote on the card, ”I remember that when I came to MLIES, I first 

met my best friend---Seoli. With Seoli, I had the happiest time in my life.”

 These cards will be 

unified by a teacher with a rope , hanging them on the  bulletin board 

of the classroom, which will become one of the features of classes.

  Through this activity, students not only exercised their oral English, but 

also showed themselves, which will help other students acquaint them.

 After the end of the event, these works will be added to ‘Class Work’,

 leaving a wonderful memory for their childhood.
