国际教育日暨第四届枫叶英语演讲比赛—天津泰达枫叶国际学校小学校区复赛

 2021年11月24日，第四届枫叶英语演讲比赛小学校区复赛在天津泰达枫叶国际学校初小报告厅举行。此次共有小学低段和高段的16名优秀选手参赛，旨在致敬国际教育日的同时，营造校园英语学习氛围，提高学生英语演讲能力，促进枫叶学生英语的交流和表达。

On November 24, 2021, the fourth Maple Leaf English Speech Contest was held in Maple Leaf International School-Tianjin TEDA auditorium. A total of 16 excellent contestants from each grade participated in the event with an aim to honor the International Education Day, create an English learning environment as well as improve students' overall English competency.

本届演讲的主题：融入世界，改变世界——中国梦，枫叶梦！

The theme of the speech: Be the change you will to see in the world -- Chinese Dream, Maple Leafers’ dream!

本场比赛顺序由抽签决定，小学低段和高段的各位选手为我们带来了精彩的演讲！充分展现了自我，锻炼了英语运用能力及临场应变能力，提高了同学们学习英语的积极性和学好英语的信心。

The order of this competition is determined by drawing lots. All contestants have brought us wonderful speeches! It fully displays and hones their abilities and enhances their enthusiasm and confidence in learning English.

比赛间隙，配音活动组的同学们给大家带来了Frozen的表演，5+班的同学给大家表演了合唱Five hundred miles这首经典的英文歌曲。

Between the competition, students from Dubbing Club showed us Frozen. Students from 5+ brought us a melody-- Five Hundred Miles.

经过评委老师们的现场打分，最后评选出低段一等奖2名，高段一等奖2名，二等奖4名，三等奖4名。低段和高段的四名冠军选手将参加11月25日的天津赛区复赛！

After fierce competition and careful grading by judges and teachers, there were 2 first prizes, 2 second prizes and 4 third prizes in each level group. The champions will represent elementary campus to attend the final competition in Tianjin Area.

通过此次演讲比赛，同学们更加体会到了一份努力，一份收获的深刻含义。虽然复赛已经结束，但同学们的英语演讲之路仍会继续！也期待舞台下的你将来能成为舞台上那颗耀眼的星！

Through the speech contest, students have realized the meaning of ”No pains, no gains”. Although the rematch is over, the students' English speech will continue! We hope you will be a dazzling star on the stage in the future!
